Frequently asked questions
What files should I send?
STEP or IGES files are ideal for CAD and machining work, and STL or OBJ for mesh-based 3D printing. Technical drawings, PDFs, and reference photos also help. If you only have a rough file, send it anyway — we will tell you what is usable.
Can you work from a sketch?
Yes. Hand sketches, photos, and written descriptions can be turned into parametric CAD models. We confirm dimensions and design intent with you before anything moves to manufacturing.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. We are happy to review and sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share project files or specifications.
Do you offer one-off prototypes?
Yes. Single units and small validation batches are a core part of what we do, across 3D printing, CNC machining, and hand finishing.
Can you handle production quantities?
Yes. Once a design is validated we can plan repeat production runs. Quantities, tooling, and scheduling are agreed per project.
How are quotes calculated?
Quotes are based on geometry, material, finish, quantity, and lead time. Send your files through the project form and we will come back with a detailed breakdown.
What materials do you support?
Material options depend on the process — engineering polymers for 3D printing, metals including steel for CNC work, and precious metals for jewelry. Ask about a specific material and we will confirm availability.
Do you provide design-only services?
Yes. CAD modeling, rendering, and technical drawings are available as standalone deliverables — you receive the files even if we never manufacture the part.
Have an idea worth building?
